na-na

Childish term, grandmother

Na-na is a taunt, typically sung in a childish singsong pattern: Na-na na-na boo-boo!

The drawn-out syllables mock or gloat, often accompanied by sticking out the tongue.

Adults use it ironically to tease: Na-na, I got the last slice.

Separately, na-na is baby talk for grandmother or banana.
