mudflap girl
Chrome lady decal
The mudflap girl is the distinctive silhouette of a reclining woman with exaggerated curves, commonly seen on truck mudflaps and as a chrome emblem.
The figure—leaning back, hair flowing—became an icon of American trucking culture.
It now appears on merchandise from air fresheners to tattoos, sometimes earnestly, sometimes ironically: He had a mudflap girl decal on his toolbox.
