mirror rooms
Infinite reflection spaces
Mirror rooms are spaces lined with mirrors on multiple surfaces, creating the illusion of infinite reflections and expanded space.
Art installations by Yayoi Kusama popularized the concept, using mirrors with lights or objects to create immersive, disorienting environments: The museum's mirror room made visitors feel like they were floating in space.
The term sometimes describes any highly reflective interior designed for visual effect.
