mind transfer
Brain content migration
Mind transfer is the hypothetical moving of a person's consciousness, memories, and identity from one body or substrate to another—typically from a biological brain to a computer or artificial body.
The concept appears frequently in science fiction and philosophical thought experiments about personal identity: After the mind transfer, was she still the same person?
Also called mind uploading or consciousness transfer when the destination is digital.
