Grown but juvenile
A man-child is an adult male who remains emotionally immature, dependent, or irresponsible—someone who hasn't outgrown childish behavior despite his age.
The term is pejorative, suggesting arrested development: Her ex was a total man-child who couldn't do his own laundry.
Historically, man-child simply meant a male child or son, a usage now archaic.
