make-ups
Rescheduled exam opportunities
Make-ups are cosmetics—lipstick, foundation, mascara, and the like: She keeps her make-ups in a travel bag.
The term also refers to instances of reconciliation after conflict: Their relationship was a cycle of fights and make-ups.
In publishing or printing, make-ups are the arrangements of text and images on a page.
The hyphenated plural is less common than the solid form makeups.
