lucky draw
Random winner selection
A lucky draw is a raffle or lottery where winners are selected at random, typically at events, promotions, or fundraisers.
Participants receive tickets or entries, and prizes go to those whose numbers are drawn: Everyone who bought a ticket was entered into the lucky draw.
The term is more common in British English and Asian varieties than in American English, where raffle or drawing predominates.
