Schlocky means cheap, trashy, or of low quality.
The word comes from Yiddish and carries a dismissive tone toward things that are shoddily made or artistically worthless: a schlocky horror movie, schlocky souvenirs from the gift shop.
Something schlocky may have a certain campy appeal despite—or because of—its obvious cheapness.
