kung pao shrimp
Hot peanut seafood
Kung pao shrimp is a Chinese-American dish of stir-fried shrimp with peanuts, vegetables, and dried chili peppers in a spicy, slightly sweet sauce.
Named after a Qing dynasty official, kung pao dishes feature the same preparation with different proteins—chicken being the most common: I'll have the kung pao shrimp with fried rice.
