knee bar

Hyperextends the leg

A knee bar is a joint lock in grappling martial arts where you hyperextend an opponent's knee by controlling their leg and applying pressure against the joint, similar to how an armbar works on the elbow.

Common in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, submission wrestling, and MMA: He tapped out to a knee bar in the second round.
