jersey swap
Post-game shirt trade
A jersey swap is the exchange of jerseys between athletes—usually opponents—after a game, as a gesture of respect or to commemorate the match.
The practice is most visible in soccer and basketball, where players trade shirts on the field or court: He got Messi's jersey in a swap after the match.
Fans use the term for collecting or trading team merchandise as well.
