jacked in
Hooked to network
Jacked in means connected to a computer system or network, especially in a direct, immersive way.
The phrase comes from cyberpunk fiction, where characters physically plug neural interfaces into their bodies to enter virtual worlds: She jacked in and disappeared into the matrix.
More broadly, it describes being fully engaged with digital technology or online spaces: I've been jacked in all day.
The opposite is jack out.
