illustrated edition
Book with pictures
An illustrated edition is a version of a book that includes pictures, drawings, or other visual artwork alongside the text.
The term typically appears in publishing contexts to distinguish such versions from text-only editions: the illustrated edition of Alice in Wonderland, a newly illustrated edition with full-color plates.
Illustrated editions are common for children's books, classics, and gift editions.
