ilks
Types or categories
Ilks is the plural of ilk, meaning type or kind: politicians and others of their ilks.
The word appears almost exclusively in the phrase of that ilk or of his ilk, usually with a dismissive or negative tone: conspiracy theorists and ilks of that sort.
The plural is uncommon, as ilk already implies a category.
