ice sculptor
Chisels frozen water
An ice sculptor is a person who carves ice into decorative or artistic forms.
Ice sculptures appear at weddings, banquets, and other formal events, often as elaborate centerpieces that gradually melt over the course of the gathering.
The work requires speed and precision, since the medium is temporary by nature: The ice sculptor finished the swan just before the reception began.
