hosted bar
No-charge cocktail service
A hosted bar is one where drinks are paid for by a host rather than by individual guests, typically at weddings, corporate events, or private parties.
The host covers the tab either entirely or for selected beverages, often with a set budget or time limit.
The invitation said there would be a hosted bar at the reception.
Also called an open bar, it contrasts with a cash bar where guests pay for their own drinks.
