heat pipe
Passive cooling tube
A heat pipe is a sealed tube containing a liquid that efficiently transfers heat from one end to the other.
The liquid evaporates at the hot end, travels as vapor to the cool end, condenses, and returns by capillary action—cycling continuously.
Heat pipes appear in laptops, spacecraft, and other applications requiring compact, passive cooling: The CPU's heat pipe keeps temperatures manageable during heavy loads.
