headpins
Front bowling pins
Headpins are the small pins with a flat or rounded head at one end, used in jewelry making to string beads and create dangles.
The bead slides onto the wire, and the plain end is bent into a loop to attach to other components.
In bowling, the headpin is the front pin in the triangular formation—the number one pin that the ball strikes first.
