great minds
Exceptional intellectual heavyweights
Great minds refers to exceptionally intelligent or creative thinkers, often invoked when two people independently arrive at the same idea: Great minds think alike.
The full phrase is sometimes extended ironically: Great minds think alike—and so do ours.
On its own, great minds typically references history's brilliant figures: the great minds of the Renaissance.
