grassroots organizers
Local movement builders
Grassroots organizers are people who mobilize ordinary community members around political or social causes, building power from the ground up rather than through established institutions.
They knock on doors, register voters, lead meetings, and cultivate local leadership: Grassroots organizers spent months in the neighborhood before the campaign even launched.
The work emphasizes person-to-person connection over top-down messaging.
