grass-fed butter
Meadow cow's butter
Grass-fed butter is butter made from the milk of cows that graze on pasture rather than eating grain-based feed.
It has a deeper yellow color and is marketed as having a better nutritional profile than conventional butter: I switched to grass-fed butter for the omega-3s.
The term appears frequently in health-conscious cooking and paleo diet contexts.
