grand prizes
Contest's biggest winnings
Grand prizes are the top awards in contests, sweepstakes, or competitions—the biggest or most valuable thing you can win.
A grand prize typically towers above lesser prizes in value or prestige: The grand prize was a trip to Hawaii; runners-up received gift cards.
The term appears frequently in marketing and promotional contexts.
