genderbent
Reimagined opposite sex
Genderbent describes a character reimagined as a different gender than in the original source material.
The term comes from fan fiction and fan art communities, where creators swap a character's gender while keeping other traits intact: a genderbent version of Sherlock Holmes, genderbent Disney princesses.
Also genderswapped or rule 63.
