gate-crashing
Entering without invitation
Gate-crashing is entering an event without an invitation or ticket—showing up uninvited to a party, concert, or other gathering.
The term evokes literally crashing through a gate, though most gate-crashers simply slip in unnoticed or talk their way past security: We spent our twenties gate-crashing Hollywood parties.
