Unfair player elimination
Ganking is video game slang for ambushing or killing another player, especially when they're vulnerable—outnumbered, low-level, or caught off guard.
The term originated in multiplayer online games where experienced players would prey on weaker ones: I got ganked by a level 60 while I was just trying to quest.
Extended to mean attacking someone unfairly or unexpectedly: Three of them ganked me in the parking lot.
