funny animals
Comedic illustrated beasts
Funny animals are anthropomorphized animal characters in comics, animation, and illustration—creatures that walk upright, wear clothes, and exhibit human personalities while retaining animal features.
The tradition runs from Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny through underground comix.
The term distinguishes this style from realistic animal depiction: He draws funny animals, not wildlife.
