full-fledged

Having complete status

Full-fledged means fully developed or complete in all respects.

The term comes from young birds that have grown all their flight feathers and can fly.

By extension, it describes anything that has reached full status or capacity: a full-fledged member of the team, a full-fledged crisis.

Also spelled fully fledged, especially in British English.
