fudgers

Those who mislead

Fudgers are people who fudge—who hedge, equivocate, or avoid giving straight answers.

A politician who won't commit to a position is a fudger.

The term also applies to those who cheat slightly or manipulate figures: The accountants were fudgers who made the numbers look better than they were.

Less commonly, fudgers are people who make fudge candy.
