fruit tea

Steeped orchard drink

Fruit tea is an infusion made from dried fruits, flowers, and herbs rather than actual tea leaves.

It typically contains pieces of dried apple, hibiscus, rosehip, or citrus peel, often blended for a sweet-tart flavor.

Unlike true tea, fruit tea is naturally caffeine-free: I switched to fruit tea in the evenings.

Also called fruit infusion or tisane.
