front-rowers
Scrum's inner trio
Front-rowers are the people sitting in the front row of an audience or classroom—those most visible, engaged, or eager.
In rugby, front-rowers are the three players in the front of a scrum: the hooker and two props.
The term sometimes carries connotations of enthusiasm or teacher's-pet eagerness: The front-rowers always raise their hands first.
