frog skin
Slimy green hide
Frog skin is the outer covering of a frog, known for being moist, permeable, and often toxic in certain species.
In dated American slang, frog skin means a dollar bill, from the greenish color: I don't have a frog skin to my name.
The slang is rarely heard today.
