Naturally pressurized water source
A flowing well is a water well where natural underground pressure forces water to the surface without pumping.
The pressure comes from an aquifer confined between impermeable rock layers, creating artesian conditions.
When drilled, such wells may flow continuously or even gush: The ranch had a flowing well that filled the stock tank without electricity.
