floor tom
Deep standing drum
A floor tom is a large drum in a standard drum kit, mounted on legs that rest on the floor rather than attached to the bass drum or a stand.
It produces a deep, resonant tone lower than the rack toms mounted above: He played a fill ending on the floor tom.
Most kits have one floor tom, positioned to the drummer's right.
