flesh tone
Peachy nude shade
Flesh tone refers to colors meant to approximate human skin, typically a pinkish-beige shade.
The term is problematic because it historically defaulted to light European complexions, ignoring the full range of human skin colors: The "flesh tone" crayon matched maybe three kids in my class.
Increasingly replaced by more inclusive terms like "nude" or specific color names.
