fixed shift
Same hours daily
A fixed shift is a work schedule where an employee consistently works the same hours and days, as opposed to rotating between different shifts.
Someone on a fixed shift might always work days or always work nights: I prefer a fixed shift so I can plan my life around it.
The arrangement offers predictability but less flexibility than rotating schedules.
