Semester's last mark
A final grade is the overall mark assigned at the end of a course, representing cumulative performance across all assignments, exams, and participation.
It appears on transcripts and determines whether a student passes or fails: I'm still waiting on my final grade for chemistry.
Distinguished from individual assignment grades that contribute to it.
