featurephone

Non-smart mobile device

A featurephone is a mobile phone with limited capabilities compared to a smartphone—typically able to make calls, send texts, and run basic apps, but lacking a full touchscreen interface or robust app ecosystem.

The term emerged retroactively once smartphones became dominant: My grandmother still prefers her featurephone.

Also spelled as two words: feature phone.
