fake beard
Adhesive facial hair
A fake beard is an artificial beard worn as a disguise, costume, or theatrical prop.
The term extends figuratively to anything serving as a cover or front—a fake beard for one's true intentions.
In queer slang, it can describe a more elaborate version of a beard: a pretend romantic partner concealing someone's sexuality.
