driver app
Gig worker's tool
A driver app is a smartphone application used by drivers working for ride-share or delivery services.
The app assigns jobs, provides navigation, tracks earnings, and manages the driver's availability.
Distinct from passenger-facing apps, driver apps are the worker's primary tool: I can't take fares until the driver app verifies my location.
