drip-dry

Needs no tumbling

Drip-dry describes fabric or clothing designed to dry without wringing or ironing when hung wet: drip-dry shirts, a drip-dry blouse.

As a verb, to drip-dry is to hang something wet and let it dry naturally: I drip-dried the sweater to avoid shrinking it.

The term emerged with synthetic fabrics in the mid-twentieth century.
