A drink station is a designated area where beverages are available, typically at events, races, or large venues.
At marathons and road races, drink stations are set up along the course where runners can grab water or sports drinks: There's a drink station at mile three.
The term also applies to self-serve beverage areas at catered events or cafeterias.
