dragon balls
Legendary reptile testicles
Dragon balls are the seven magical orbs in the Japanese manga and anime series *Dragon Ball*.
In the fiction, gathering all seven summons a dragon who grants wishes.
The phrase has become shorthand for any quest requiring collection of scattered items: I've got three of the seven dragon balls I need to unlock that character.
Unrelated to the vulgar sense of balls.
