double-barreled shotguns
Side-by-side scattergun
Double-barreled shotguns are firearms with two parallel barrels that can be fired in succession without reloading.
The barrels may be arranged side by side or stacked vertically (over-under).
These weapons have long been favored for hunting and sport shooting because they offer a quick second shot while remaining mechanically simpler than pump-action or semiautomatic designs.
