divine nature
Quality of gods
Divine nature refers to the essential qualities or attributes belonging to a god or gods—omnipotence, omniscience, eternal existence, perfect goodness.
In Christian theology, it often describes the godhood shared by the Trinity or the spiritual element humans may participate in through grace: partakers of the divine nature.
More loosely, anything exhibiting godlike qualities: the divine nature of artistic inspiration.
