deviationist
Departs from orthodoxy
A deviationist is someone who departs from accepted doctrine, especially in communist or socialist political contexts.
The term arose in Marxist discourse to condemn those who strayed from orthodox party positions: The party expelled him as a deviationist.
It carries a tone of ideological accusation rather than neutral description.
