demagnetized
No longer attractive
Demagnetized describes something that has had its magnetic properties removed or neutralized.
A demagnetized object no longer attracts iron or other magnetic materials the way it once did.
The term applies literally to magnets and magnetic storage media, but also appears figuratively to describe people or things that have lost their attractive pull or compelling force: After the scandal, the candidate seemed demagnetized, unable to draw crowds the way he once had.
