debris chute

Demolition material channel

A debris chute is a temporary enclosed tube or channel used on construction and demolition sites to direct waste materials from upper floors down to a dumpster or collection point at ground level.

The chute—usually made of heavy plastic or metal sections linked together—keeps falling debris contained and protects workers below: They fed broken drywall into the debris chute.
