dad-blamed
Old-fashioned mild oath
Dad-blamed is a mild oath used as an intensifier, a euphemism for damn or goddamned: That dad-blamed dog got into the trash again.
Like dad-gum, dad-burn, and similar expressions, it substitutes "dad" for "God" to avoid blasphemy.
The word sounds rural and old-fashioned, more likely heard from a cartoon prospector than in contemporary speech.
