danged
Darn it all
Danged is a mild euphemism for damned, used as an intensifier or expression of frustration: That's the dangedest thing I ever saw, I can't get this danged door open.
It appears mainly in rural American speech and avoids the profanity of the original while keeping its emphatic force.
Also spelled dangest in superlative form.
