d'oh

I messed up

D'oh is an exclamation of frustration, self-reproach, or dismay at one's own stupidity or an unfortunate turn of events: D'oh! I left my wallet at home.

Popularized by Homer Simpson on *The Simpsons*, it functions like a self-directed "duh" when you've done something foolish or when things go wrong through your own fault.
